EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is one of the techniques with more scientific recognition and it is recommended for treating post traumatic disorders being widely used for this reason by the United States Department of Defense and recommended here in the UK by Nice. It can even be used to eliminate the desire for a cake or to quit smoking
During the process, the REM sleep period is imitated and bilateral brain stimulation is created. This results in the cancellation of negative emotions and encourages the positive emotions that replace them.
It is a technique that teaches us to use our senses to handle everyday situations, improving communication and understanding with others. It offers simple exercises to stop unwanted behaviors and teaches us how the vocabulary we use, creates a positive effect on the listener. Widely used by athletes and large enterprises to achieve their goals.
It is a program of rapid change that makes a comprehensive review of all our being at mental and physical level. The process has 6 steps that identify the origin of the problem and reprocesses it creating positive change from the first session with the aim to obtain a full recovery within a maximum of 6 to 8 sessions.
Hypnotherapy is a psychological technique used to improve wellbeing, even in the time of the Egyptians. It has been badly damaged and distorted by mixing it with magic to make TV programs of high audience. However, it is a method used for centuries in the field of medicine to perform operations without anesthesia. In more recent times such as the First World War, it was used by the UK government to treat soldiers suffering from shell shock in Plymouth. There is a library of videos demonstrating the surprising results. Government advisers have recommended its use as part of the national health service. There are studies that verify its validity to treat cases such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
We all live in a trance state at some point in our day to day life, but due to the lack of knowledge it is not used to enhance our skills and improve our lives. Einstein, Chopin and Goethe learned and used the technique openly, as well as Tiger Woods, Sylvester Stallone and even Princess Diana.
Control is not lost, neither consciousness in contrary to what it is shown on television programs.
Analytical, Regression Hypnotherapy and Gestalt
Analytical hypnosis, also called hypnoanalysis, is a deepening technique used in clinical hypnosis, by which you can quickly find the source of unwanted thoughts or behaviors. The technique is based on the understanding that everything we do, believe or think is based on our past experiences. Once we find the source of the problem, the therapist with the client can create radical changes at subconscious and cognitive level, creating a new form of behavior or thought more valid and appropriate.
As Matrix-reimprinting, it offers a door to self-knowledge. Our subconscious remembers everything we have experienced, heard, felt, seen or smelt. Our mind constantly hit by external stimuli, creates a series of filters that select the information you remember and use at a conscious level.
This method provides surprising results to find the reason for seemingly irrational fears or phobias.
Regressive Hypnotherapy facilitates the analytical process by providing an accessible route to the subconscious mind. Our minds are bombarded daily by millions of stimuli. The information is filtered and only a small portion remains stored on a conscious level, the rest is preserved in our subconscious mind. Many of our beliefs, attitudes and habits stem from the information stored in our subconscious. The technique gives us the opportunity to return in time to memories created in the earliest years of our lives.
Gestalt is a technique that offers customers the opportunity to observe the current situation and their relationships, regain their voice and sense of self, self-esteem and authority.
Under a state of trance, and only if the person wishes so at a conscious level, it can create positive suggestions to help you get what you want. Imagination, visualization, metaphors and stimulation of our senses are used to obtain the desired changes. Many athletes use it regularly to improve their physical and mental shape.
Parts Therapy offers customers a solution and self-understanding as a part of them wants to do something, but another part of this personality prevents him as a protection or for some other reason.
The client is able to identify the part that does not let him go further. It is used very often on issues related to lack of progress such as someone wanting to look for a better job, but something preventing him to take action – eg. a part may believe that he/she will not keep up, and it protects the client from the humiliation reducing the interest in the subject or causing anxiety, which in turn it makes you to give up in your ambition. Also in health problems such as insomnia, when maybe you want to improve, but something is holding you back to avoid returning to work, if it is considered an uncomfortable or dangerous place.
